Ark exhaust issues

Hey guys, I have been really out of the loop for the last couple years. I have an 07 g35x with the Ark exhaust. It has been great for about 2 years. Recently I started to hear some rasp so I replaced the gaskets at the cats. Seemed to help but they corroded and blew out in a few days for some reason. I replaced them again with thicker ones and it fixed the noise for a few days but then it seems like a leak started somewhere else. Now at low rpms my car warbles and studders and the rasp is worse than ever. I cant find any leaks in the exhaust (the flex pipes are pretty torn up from scraping but only the outer layer. Should that cause a leak?) I think it may be the stock cats. I used to have Berk HFCs and hated the sound. Anyone know if they make resonated cats for the awd now? I know they didnt used to. Thanks for the help.

-David

ARK exhaust wasn't the best choice!

Here's an take your G to a muffler shop and let them figure out where the leaks are coming from. OE gaskets are much better quality than auto parts stores sell! Sure they cost more but I'm still using the same ones after 5 years and I swap my HFCs for OE cats every other year...Gary

I did. They said they couldnt find anything. I can tell theres a leak somewhere around there but they arent willing to look around and mess with it. And yeah I cant find those metal multi layer gaskets anywhere. I have been using the graphite ones.

I do not, unfortunately there are no good mom and pop shops around here. They are all chains who dont care.

I ordered a metal undertray so I can stop scraping all over the place on my plastic one. Going to get it on a lift and take another look this week.
