Stillen Gen 1 vs Gen 2 Sedan Catback
Is there a way to distinguish the Stillen Gen I from the Gen II Catback for the sedan?
On Import Parts Pro and Concept Z Performance, they have the same Stillen Stainless Steel Catback for the sedan listed for $1,069, and the description claims 23 hp gains, while the exhaust listed on the Stillen website claims 9 hp gains, for the same price.
They also note on Stillen's site: "03-06 Generation 1 - This is a louder system than our G35 Coupe or 350Z systems and makes substantially more power than either of those.
03-06 Generation 2 - New and improved - Same great power now with a quieter tone. The original system yielded tremendous power but at a higher sound level than we typically look for."
Are CZP and IPP selling the Gen I while Stillen is selling the Gen II? It seems unbelievable that they could claim 23 hp from a catback, and then lose 14 hp when they made Gen II quieter.
Any thoughts or experience to share?

Update: On IPP: "Features:
Years: 03-06
Generation 2 - Cat-Back - All Trims (Including AWD)"
Are the claims for the Catback (21-23 hp) accurate or manufacturer fluffery to sell the product? Is the change from Y-pipe single to X-pipe dual exhaust really going to make a difference of more than 10 whp?

We do sell the newer Gen 2 exhaust.
The description is normally just a cut and paste from what Stillen had when it was first listed. They have obviously gone back and made more realistic claims on the Hp and Tq.
I have gone in and corrected my listing
If you would like a quote on the exhaust, shoot me a PM with your zip code and I will quote you a forum price ;-)
