cai or short ram?

New to cars and learning about them. Got an 07G35 sedan and wanting to get a new intake system. Dont know what's better for my car a cold air intake or short ram? Anyone know what's best for the money's worth and produces best overall sound for this car?

Stillens CAI/Z-tube combination, includes large K&N cone filter and construction is a plastic composite that isn't bothered by under hood temperatures. Any intake made of metal will cost you hp...fact! I keep this intake just as a backup...Gary

Listed as 07 and 08 sedan and still no luck. This link says it's for an 07 coupe http://www.stillen.com/product/intake-kits/ztube-intake-kit---cold-air-intake-wztube-kit-0307-g35-2dr--0306-g35-4dr-8705.html

Plastic doesn't absorb as much heat into the intake stream as the aluminum and stainless counterparts do. That's what he is getting at. List yours as a 2008... That is where the true difference is I believe.

Ok will try that and assuming it is easily installed in an 07. I was actually wrong thought injen might have been plastic cause I saw a pic or two of black tubes but they're metal as well. Seems like most dual intakes are metal.

Is this only a single tube that fits on one specific side? Assuming my 07 sedan has a stock dual intake could I get two z tubes one for each side and two filters?

I believe for you if you want to go Stillen it's those long tube intakes that you can get. The z-tube doesnt apply since you have the HR.
