I just finished installing my HKS replica custom X pipe, Megan headers, Megan resonated test pipes, and K&N intake. Sounds loud and a little raspy. But I wanted it to sound more MEANER/AGGRESSIVE AT high rpm/WOT! 😤

Any suggestions? Will a plenum spacer make it sound deeper and meaner? Anything??! Help plz!

 

Test pipes are causing the rasp...what system do you have after the pipes?

 

Literally replace every exhaust mod you've done with something worthwhile and quality. You done nothing but Frankenstein bottom of the barrel parts together.

 

Honestly, it sounds really good. Oh and also deleted my resonators and replaced with custom X pipe lol. But will HFCs give it a more meaner wot? Or basic plenum spacer?

 

spacer won't do anything for noise but it will add some performance if you have a non rev motor.
But really, if you're set on the sound just do straight pipes. Sure that will just **** the car up even more but at this point I'm guessing that's of little importance to you.

Lol. If you don't like the loudness of it, then the only option is straight pipes. Can't really do much else to the exhaust since you have TP's and stuff.
