I'd worry about that on a long trip with the windows up.

I'm not following what the concern would be for the quote above. If that is about breathing exhaust, let me say, I don't think breathing the exhaust from your own car with these installed is any concern whatsoever. Correct me if I'm wrong, mates. I'm not saying anyone is wrong. But I installed them, so I can say this is how these work.

Just before the muffler, some un-muffled, yet exhaust already treated by the catalyst is allowed to escape, down toward the pavement.

If the car is moving, air is going to flow this small 2% of the exhaust and the remaining 98% of the exhaust from the tailpipes out the rear of the car.

However, in the same condition and in traffic, we are all driving right into the exhaust path of the (insert a number here) cars ahead of us. Every time we drive, we are breathing other cars' exhaust. A lot of other cars' exhaust. So, this would be a non issue, if this concern is regarding breathing exhaust from your own car with this mod.

And especially so if you were on a long trip on the interstate with the windows up. The exhaust would quickly be sent rearward. How would it change direction, catch up to the car, and force its way back past the windows?

Of course, I may not have understood the original concern.

And, I will add one more thing. Okay, maybe 2. Sure I could have spent more money on another exhaust system, (but actually I can't as I explained before, my wallet is not choc a bloc). And I think you guys' exhaust's are the roo's jab, I would be bloody stoked to have such. And secondly, in my opinion, the actual sound is better than on the video. Sorry to open such a can of worms … sometimes I feel like a drongo, mates.

Yeah, I still can't follow about 99% of what you're saying Big Frank. The Australian language is Greek to me.
No doubt sitting in traffic would be the only concern.
No worms have been injured during the making of this thread.
Glad to hear the exhaust worked out govna.

I'm going to make it a goal to use the word "drongo" at least once tomorrow xD
Frank, if saving money is your goal, keep tabs on this forum! The people here gave me the confidence to work on my car myself saving thousands of $, knowing that any question I have somebody on here knows the answer and will be happy to share! Not everybody here has a tricked out G with $10,000 in mods, and many of the people here with really nice parts bought them used for half the price from the classifieds or facebook when ballers part out their builds.

There is no concern WHATSOEVER about pulling exhaust into the cabin. The spacer goes at the final flange before the muffler which is basically at the rear axle.

Oh, I get those words, it's the rest I can't understand. For example, the seemingly excessive though correct use of commas, or the remarkable control of the English language and the elegance with which this particular individual writes with. Oh, wait a tick, Australians are English. SOAB!

Cleric, where is the natural vent for the car?

Hint: it's at 7 o'clock from the spare tire. It's about the worst spot to have an exhaust vent.

Are you talking about the balancers in the trunk? Air is pushed from the cabin out into the world through those, they have a 1-way flap designed specifically so nothing comes back it. It's just to equalize pressure from fresh air drawn into the AC system.

That's deadset mate. And I know no other Bruce for the forums. And yes, I've repaired a few things here and there with a solution drug up from the fathoms of this forum. Bloody good resource, you yanks.

I like to tell me local mates, that I now live "Up Over" Since I came from "Down Under."

And … if your just sitting in traffic, you'll still breath other cars exhaust more than your own.

Bare with me mates, with my slang. And my spelling. I have to read my post near 5 times to fix the misspellings. And I try to remove the Aussie slang, but I don't know the equivalent words used up over. I am but a bloody Aussie bogan.

Your writing in perfectly fine Big F. I said I couldn't understand it as a joke, because your australian but speak english with a dialect probably more correctly then an english speaking american as it's closer to english english than english american and other than a few slang words, the writing is indistinguishable. Ah, forget it. It was funny in my head.

Gday mates,

Maybe I'm hallucinating or something, but yesterday I was cruising through a smaller town on me way to get a slab, and saw a nice looking red G35 pass by as I was waiting to pull out. I eventually caught up with him and managed to go past him as he was held up with a ute turner in his way (4 Lane road). Then he caught back up to me, and … pointed to his ear and pointed at my car and then flashed a thumbs up. That's what I saw. I imagine he liked the bloody sound and I was rapped about it. But what I don't know, do you yanks have another meaning for that? Could be he thought it was wonky.

I would have like to have a chinwag with the bloke, but had to turn into the quikie for me slab.

,Nope thumbs up and a smile says it all, he liked it a lot. Maybe you'll see him again and share a chinwag with him, that'd be pretty cool. Now you've gotten me wanting a slab and I don't even drink any more, damn you.

Hahaha it's Australian slang not New York. Chinwag is a conversation and a slab is a 24 pack of beer if my Australian is on point.
