G37 LTH on a G35?

Has anyone tried to fit any long tube headers from a G37 coupe onto a g35 coupe?

Yes but you need to relocate one of the studs on each head. I don't even know if it's possible with the engine still in the car though.

Could you explain more. I am looking through pictures of the header falng holes on both cars and it appears like they fit. Which stud are you talking about? If the issue is with the hole fitting, maybe I can have the the correct G35 header flang weleded on instead of the G37 header flang. I couldn't find a good picture of both cars with the header studs showing. This is a picture of a 2003 G35 sedan header install I found off Youtube:

No the holes are all there but on the G35 they don't use one of them so it's empty, you need to add a stud. iirc the front stud doesn't end up getting used so you can swap it to the rear.

Headers are just a really super tight install with the engine in the car.

The guy who did my Art Pipes (in 45 minutes too!) actually lowers the motor with the car on a lift to do headers, says it cuts the installation time in half.

I was thinking of doing the install myself and I dont have the tools to lower the motor.

Anyone know if the G37 long tube headers would fit besides the header flang? Will the G37 long tube headers come into contact with anything on the G35?
