What have you done to extend your exhaust tips on your Nismo catback (besides 6" ext)

I need this info for a friend who is about to order the Nismo catback and 6" extension from Performance Nissan. I couldn't find what I was looking for through searching.. As far as I know the tips come up about 2" short even w/ the 6" extension.. What have you guys done to extend them a little further? thanks

From what I understand, you can't extend the extension any further. If you did the hangers wouldn't line up. All you can do is cut off the tips and then weld some additional pipe to the exhaust at the point prior to the tips.

If you're worried about the tips, then just buy the Nismo exhaust for the Skyline instead of retrofitting the Z exhaust.
