Is the mid-pipe and resonator the same item?

Does anyone make a high performnace replacement for this part?

Has anyone removed the midpipe/resonator and replaced with a straight pipe?

What were the results?

Do you have the sedan? Many people are replacing the sedan's midpipe with the copupe's.
Others have removed the sedan resonator and replaced it with magnaflow 22" resonator.
Do a search and you will find out all about it.

I wanted to get a little more growl than the Greddy exhaust is putting out.

Get a plenum spacer and hiflow cats and you will have growl =)

I have a coupe, but wondering about the MagnaFlow 22" resonator you installed. Is it the Mangnapack (muffler) or the XL Powerpack (simialr to glass pack)? How is the sound?

I'm trying to quiet down my Injen SES system with the MagnaFlow Powerpacks (24").Thanks for your info. and feedback.
