it helps to read before you type....
Thats from SSF/SSR engineering and not HKS. They are simply modding the muffler to fit on our cars. You going to tell me every one is going to assume that "Carbon" means "Carbon fiber" Please! You can't just assume things, cars are too specific and precise to do that. There is always some crazy new stuff coming out all the time for cars, you'll never know what expect from the advance R&D of major Manufacturers.

BTW - Dude fix your signature it looks wack.

Skyline,

it doesnt matter if its from SSF/SSR, the fact of the matter is that its an HKS muffler, not a replica not a fake me out one. Its an AUTHENTIC HKS CF MUFFLER!! Anytime I think exhaust and titanium I know its either just titanium tipped like the HKS Hi Power, or complete titanium like the Amuse exhaust. I dont think there exist a muffler canister that is completely CF....therefore when i hear a CF exhaust system i assume only the muffler is CF....and ive also never seen a CF exhaust w/ any part CF other than a portion of a muffler....

in regards to my sig....its an inside joke and is supposed to look 'wack' for a reason.

pdjafari,

Hmmmm yeah...ummm...I just want the last word.

Yeah...Well, I prefer a complete HKS system myself (personal opinion). BTW - I asked a machanic who has been working on cars for 30 years what a "Carbon exhaust" is, he said It is a exhaust that releases "carbon dioxide".LOL - Which contradicts your theory.

Your sig looks a lot better now.

sounds like that mechanic is only USDM oriented! the hsk carbon ti exhaust muffler is a very good muffler. just fit any piping whether it be titanium, or s/s, and give it mandrel bends, and it will be well worth it imo. if the company fitting them on produced dual HKS carbon ti mufflers, they would sell significantly.
