Do a Search, and you'll come up with posts like this:

I have never read about anyone making power with the Borlas.

I've heard they are a waste of money. The Borla exhaust is good. Headers, not so good.

They are not equal length and also provide minimal gains.....from all the reviews I have read.

Headers cost so much money and time to install, I would want to make sure that I'm actually putting something on my car that will provide a boost.

Borla isn't the way to go.

Crawford is what I would recommend - but they are pricey.

As far as the really Good Headers go:

1. Crawford

2. Nismo

OK... The first set of headers I had were from NISMO. Excellent headers, but one problem (and it wasnt the headers). I was running test pipes, which do away with the stock cross over brace, thus the back end weight of my exhaust system (Fuji system) was weighing down the collectors, which in return sprung a small stress crack. While the NISMO were out on a warranty exchange (which by the way they did exchange them) instead of slapping the stock manifolds back on, I got a ddeal on a set of Borla headers, so I slapped them on. Both the NISMO and the Borla headers work great. Gains on any "shorty" style header will be more or less the same, unless you're taking about full length headers, for which gains have been recorded to be higher. YES the install on G's is a real pain in the you know where, but I think its quite worth it! The car runs smoother and there is a power increase in the upper end of the RPM end, well at least my "butt-dyno" tells me there is. I've never had my car dynoed (even after all the work I have done), but there is a difference in power and you can feel it. The sound has also been altered a bit. It's more distinct and the higher notes more audiable (probbably due to the less mass, weight and structure of the headers). So all in all, the Borla headers are just fine. Good value for the buck! The NISMO's are also awesome, but you will pay twice as much for them. The NISMO's I got exchanged, I ended up selling on eBay. Didn't really see a need to swap out the Borla's. Well, I hope this helps. Oh and in case you're wondering, I did my own header install on my back, with my car on jack stands. Its a real bitch, I will admit it, and maybe to those who went out and spent as much as they paid for the headers for the install are bitter and in return dont think its worth it, take it from me, the install is very rewarding and the gains are there!

Goto www.My350Z.com, the sister site to this one, and do a search on the Borla's. For the most part, the comments are not good and the dyno's on the Borla don't show that there are good results to be had. Stick to the Nismo or Crawfords.
