Guys Im Torn Between Fujitsubo and RSR

I know one is loud and the other is quieter but i can't decide which one is better. I love the size of the tips on the fuji but its seems like it doesn't have the sound to match the look of tips. I beleive the tips on the RSR are smaller. I know i like my exhuast to be a lil on the loud side and for that i think the RSR is great but I worry that after installing headers, y pipe and hi flows the RSR will be too loud. On the opposite end, I know the that initially the Fuji probally wouldn't be loud enough for my taste but I worry even after the above stated mods that the Fuji will still be too quiet. I'm really trying to achieve close to that Ferrari with Tubi exhaust, exotic car volume/ tone.
What are you guy's thoughts?

i currently have the stock exhaust, with headers, cats, and a Fujitsubo Y-pipe.
i worked backwards from most people, getting the headers and cats first, then the y-pipe, and soon the exhaust.

my setup right now is very civil in low rpm cruising, very similar to the stock sound, but with a deeper tone to it... however, if you let it rip, people will definitely hear you coming. whenever i come across a tunnel, i can't help but throw it into MM mode and click down 2 gears just to hear it roaring

i'm assuming, once i put on the Legalis-R, it will get louder, which is a plus for me. i too enjoy an exhaust that has "authority" but that isn't annoying. i have heard that the RSR is loud to the point of being obnoxious (even with stock cats and headers)

i can try to get some quick sound clips of my setup this weekend maybe, so you can judge for yourself

Thankyou, i would appreciate a sound clip. I think I might do my exhaust in the same direction as you. that way i'll have a better idea of how loud an exhuast I want to purchase. Im personally not worried about the RSR by its self, it just after the other exhuast mods that I worry it will be too crazy. This car is still a luxury vehicle too, so I can't have an exhuast thats too loud for me to talk inside the cabin.

As of right now, i have the fujitsubo exhaust/y-pipe, helix test pipes, cai, plenum spacer and it sounds really nice. It has a deep sound when driving normally, but when i floor it, i've been told it sounds ferrari-like or exotic sounding. It gets pretty loud especially when all the piping is nice and hot from a long drive. There is no droning and it still stays fairly quiet inside the car. Getting the fuji keeps the stock tone, just an enhanced version of it. Before i got the test pipes, i must admit that at normal driving, the exhaust was kinda quiet but loud at WOT. The test pipes made it sound that much better....i guess part of the nice sound comes from the little rasp the test pipes give. For sure when i get headers, it will probably get louder. In my opinion, the RSR will be too loud after you get all the other bolt ons.

Well,

I would have liked a fuji, but the backorder on them is like 3 months+, So I went with the RS*R. I'll let you know how loud it is, because I don't like my cars to be obnoxious, only slightly above normal. Plus I'm gonna be installing HF cats also....*SIGH*, I think I'm not gonna like it.

fuji is not on backorder depending where you get it from, got mine in 5 days from streetimage, and it was shipped from cali to south florida. so it made it cross country in 5 days, which i think is pretty darn solid.
Love the was my fuji sounds if you have AIM, i can send you a vid of stock vs fuji, its kinda on the quite side, but a perfect tone, w/ even less rasp than stock. Once i add headers and cats, it should be perfect.

I don't know much about exhausts, but have you considered HKS Hi-Power (Ti) exhaust? From some of the reviews on this forum it's comparable to the Fuji, but a little louder. I think it may be what your looking for. It has huge tips, true dual, and an aggressive but not too loud sound. Anybody with the HKS care to chime in here?
