The extension should make the exhaust line up to the hangers however the tips will be slighly shorter then where the stock ones fall. It should fit with the extension, but I won't make any promises.

nope, w/out the extension it will not fit, unless you know something i dont. but from what i have read on this forum, it will not. this was the major deciding factor when i got my exhaust. i was btwn nismo and fuji. ended up getting the fuji cause i didnt want to worry bout fitting issues

heres the link for the extension:

I second escobar, I wanted the Nismo, but with the tips being 2" too short and from the pictures I saw it smoked up the valence and just didn't look right. you will have to have the 6" extension for it to fit at all.

Don't get aluminized pipe extensions be sure to get stainless like the rest of the system.

yea def. but today i was putting the exhaust under the car just to get a rough idea of how short it really was. from the looks of it, it seems to be just perfect. i know this exhaust was always kina long on the 350z's so is there any chance of it fitting with the extension. also what will happen if they put an aluminum extension? i know stainless steel is better quality but any MAJOR difference?

It's actually 8 inches from flange to flange. I just measured the Pro-1 350Z exhaust sitting in my garage.

Why don't you call several in your area to get an estimate? I would probably have them weld flanges on them...if not they just might weld everything together, to the point where you couldn't swap back to stock.
