Congratz Man! Planning to Dyno the ride anytime soon? Or how about sound clips? I'd love to see the results.

I have my Crawfords on my 05 Coupe with STOCK EXHAUST. It sounds great! With the cold air intake, it sounds tough.
I can't wait until I get a Fujitsubo exhaust system. I'm sure it will feel much better.

I know a guy that has them with an Injen exhaust on a 350Z, it's freakin loud. I think that it has more to do with the Injen exhaust than the cats though. The tone is very good however.
I have that Crawfords, I'm happy with them except for the mentioned rattle issue.

As for the sound, again, I can't compare directly, so I'll just give my opinion vs. my expectation. With the windows up, sounds more aggressive as expected. Under hard acceleration, it gets much louder, but stays rather smooth
. With the windows down, I actually get a little embarassed when I hear more what it really sounds like. Under any throttle condition, it sounds more whiny as opposed to throaty or exotic (Think Honda CRX with PepBoys exhaust). Occasionally I'll even hear a little "Bap-bap-bap" under decelleration. Note that I also have the MD 3/8" plenum spacer and Z-tube with K&N drop-in which factor into the sound.Performance change is noticeable, depending on how you drive, and I expect is similar to Crawford. I notice the loss of low-end power more often than the increased high-end, such is the nature of driving around town. When I really get on it and the engine spools up a bit, I can definitely feel it pull harder. At highway speed, the car just seems to breathe easier and things are very smooth. I also get slightly but noticeably better mileage.
In truth, I don't hate them enough to go to the trouble of getting under there again to pull them off, plus whatever money I could get back would still leave a bit to upgrade to Crawford. Money is always the main issue with people making this decision. In this case, I beleive you do actually get what you pay for. What you save between the two may be worth it for some, but it wasn't for me. Also, it took me 3 days of calling every hour to finally get someone to answer the phone to tell me there was a "Production delay." Doug at Crawford seems to be much more customer oriented.
