Coat your Cats?

Just before sending my Nismo Headers to Jet Hot for their JetHot2000 coating, I read a post here where someone coated their entire system, cats included.

Just trying to see if anyone else has done this. Was it worthwhile? And Jet Hot typically coats the insides as well. Any problem with them coating the inside of the cats?

Any feedback is appreicated. I've decided to go with the Crawford Cats so, naturally, the coating question came to mind.

You'd clog the catalytic converter material and restrict the flow. Bad idea IMO.

I figured so. Just seemed so odd, seeing cats coated, that I thought I'd ask.

And thanks, irony.
