Headers and lower end power

I am the only one that lost lowend power and torque after eliminating the cats and installing long race headers? I also had my ecu reflashed for this modd as well. Let me know what you guys think? go with short headers and cats?

From what I understand, anytime you eliminate that much backpressure from your exhaust you have to expect to lose low end torque in exchange for high end HP. Race headers are really designed with constant high RPM road racing in mind.

I have the Crawford headers. I haven't noticed any decrease in low-end power; if I have, the loss isn't detectable by the butt dyno.
