I am sure the Greddy EVO exhaust is louder than the HKS sport exhaust. I asked a guy at a local speed shop.

plz plz..., post a wav file here, so we can know the sound of it Btw, I personally think that the stock muffler is quite loud from the inside. Do you think that by changing to HKS exhaust, the person sitting on tbe back of the car will heard too loud noise ? Any experiences with noise insulant ?

Well gr4n23, I don't think it is too loud. It actually sounds normal (3300RPM and under) until you mash the gas and then the fun begins. I think by removing the stock intake resonated ducting and replacing with the straight 350Z ducting has made it louder than normal. This noise level would not be something the wife and kids would complain about. Here is an attached pic if the engine bay with the 350Z duct. Hope this helps

just heard mbarrad's 2 files. the stillen intake soudns cool with the turbo-like whoosh sound. and its a tad louder than stock.
The HKS exhaust, however, sounds baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad ****. im ppicking one up asap. holy crap that sounds nice. vrooom vrooom vroom. very mean and deep. like a real car, not a p@$$y lil factory POS. thanks a lot mbarrad.

nuttyprof, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for posting your impressions. It really does sound badass. So badass that I'm finding myself lately turning off the radio so I can hear the exhaust note. Really a well designed exhaust.

A million thanks! I checked the web sites and they were all out...called Steve Millen in Costa Mesa and they sold it for $420.00 pplus tax, picked it up and installed same day..took almost two hours but not bad for someone with Parkinsons and a 8 yr old helper. Results...that night not much performance change, disconnected battery over night and shwiiiinngggg! Very nice! sweet extra pick up and niceeeeeee sound!
