Yeah, 4.5" is for the Coupe.

Can we get some updated impressions now that you've been driving with it for a little while?

looks very nice..how is the quality compared to fuji? looks like we have a contender...i would also like something "different".. any sound clips??

 

Well my impressions now are still good....this is a very good exhaust for those that drive their G's as daily drivers since the sound is not overly loud or annoying in the cabin.....I think its gotten alil louder on startup now that its gettting broken in....

The quality of the tanabe is very good.....check out their webiste since they describe the exhaust in detail....

 

This is interesting... I emailed Tanabe asking about what size tips the Coupe exhaust has, here is their response:

The SM Hyper (http://www.tanabe-usa.com/exhausts/medalionhyper.asp) only
comes with 100mm tip sizing for the dual exhaust system on the G35
Coupe.

The G35 Sedan comes with a 115mm tip sizing since that system is a
single exit system.

My rear section looks exactly like that pic in the link, which is also the same as the pic I posted on the first page.....

Since you keep asking me.....I just went out and measured and the tips are slightly less than 4.5...I was told they were 4.5 by the vendor i bought it from....wutever.....I'm still happy.

 

Haha, sorry to keep bugging you about it. You said in this thread it was 4.5", I called a vendor and he said it was 4.5", a couple websites said either 4" or 4.5" and then Tanabe said 4" so it was pretty confusing.
