Well buddy unless you've got close to $3500 to throw down on an exhaust system and pipe then you won't be getting it anytime soon. Its a solid titanium and for the system alone without y-pipe you won't find it under $2000 at any vendor. Reason being istitanium is an expensive metal, couple that with the price to import this baby from Japan, and you've got quite an expensive tag. Honestly, the exhaust has no real benefit over other brands aside from weight reduction. You'll get the same (potentially even better) performance from some of the other exhausts out there on the market such as the Stillen, Fuji, HKS, etc. Just save your money and buy something a little cheaper. Sure, the system looks great but hopefully no one will be under your car ;0) .

damn......for real, i talked to richard i think and he said if you get the amuse r1 with a y pipe, it adds alil around 30hp , so does this mean i could get the hks and add a amuse y pipe or any other y pipe and get the same results, thats where im getting confused in what to buy, if it gives out the same results then im down on buying like a hks or fuji

I think the Amuse y-pipe bolts right up to the headers. No cats. Think of it as test pipes and a y-pipe as one. Somebody from bulletproof or amuse correct me if i'm wrong. That probably explains the 30hp.

Everybody on my350z that has the amuse exhaust loves it. Sounds badass, best sounding, from the clips i've seen.

I was gonna ask about this too. I've read that the setup eliminates the cats, but from some pictures i've seen, the cats are still there. are there any other full Ti systems coming out for the g? the 350z seems to have a few options to select from, but the g only has the amuse system.

i've searched on the few threads about the amuse, and it looks like there are people that have bought them. anybody have any post-install reviews??

Well G35pm you're both right and wrong in that assumption so lets try to clarify everything. Amuse, offers a total of three front pipes. The R1 titanium, the R1 stainless steel, and the R1000 titanium. The R1000 is the only one thats gets rid of that cats and is essentially a Y-Pipe with integrated straight pipes. Be very careful on the model year of you're vehicle though, G's with build dates of 10/03 or later will require O2 simulators if the stock cats are removed.... D_Unit as far as this exhaust adding 30 ponies, thats simply not going to happen. What you probably heard instead was that the exhaust weighs over 30 pounds lighter than the stock system; thats more realistic.

Kalakas as far as I know, the Amuse R1 is the only titanium system available for G35's, unless Top Secret manufactuers a full titanium system (I know they have a titanium y-pipe). Techinically, you could add one of the extension pipes (Performance Nissan Parts sells one) and put a 350 system on the G35, but that may take a little engineering on the part of the installer.

too loud

the sound of amuse is great and it is a lot louder than any other exhaust on the market, maybe not as loud as the guy with e-cut out. I have header/downpipe/+ hks hi power TT as my daily ride; and it is loud enough that every time I see popo I will step on the crunch to kill the noise. I have to admit that the exhaust tone is very addictive.

you guys are forgetting that the amuse r1 is for the 350z. the tips will come up short. it will be expensive to fix this. i was toying with the idea of splurging on the amuse exhaust, but i dont want to shell out that much money for something that needs to be fixed just to fit correctly!

i dont know much about it.......but all i know was the rep at bulletproof said with all the amuse things it should increase it about that much, i had to repeat myself saying 30hp you say , and he responded with a yes around 30hp , he did also mention like you said it was much lighter then the exhaust systems out there, but i dont know, i need proof damnit
if only someone out there with a G can tell us what the gain on hp and trq is id be very happy

Thats interesting Alan. I know the Amuse USA site only lists a system for the 350z but Bulletproof Auto has two different ones listed for the 350 and V35; Bulletproof usually isn't one to list 350z parts for the G (if you look in the exhaust section for the 350, it has a lot more offerings than the g35).

D_Unit I've never heard of a system putting out anything even close to 30 hp. Potentially that may be more likely at the crank but definitely not at the wheels. The rep was most likely talking about the header-back system with the R1000 front pipe. The most impressive thing to me anyway is the weight reduction of over stock. According to Bulletproof's site, the front pipe alone weighs 37 lbs less than OEM. Combine that with the rest of the exhaust and you've knovked off a fair amount of weight. Sure its not rotational mass but its a decent removal of some unecessry weight.
