Blue magic liquid metal polish works well, but you'd have to get under there and really work at it. Its at walmart for like 2 or 3 dollars a bottle. Its a sure thing, just sucks you have to get under the car. I've heard that Oxy-clean paste works, but I'm really skeptical, but it would be awesome if it really worked the way it's supposed to, just mix with water, apply, and rinse off. Quick and easy if its the real deal. But yeah Blue Magic works well with any stainless steel.

I know you said stainless steel and my answer is going to sound weird.... but Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish is an awesome product to use on stainless. You hardly have to rub and the carbon and tar comes right off. The shine is amazing and a little bit of this stuff goes a long way.

I use this product on my blower, exhaust tips, intake piping, etc...

Also Keep Fingerprints "OIL" off the piping & Muffler. This makes it turn Funky Colors
