In case you haven't seen this info, here's some more details on the Strup headers, this post should answer a lot of your questions.
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69929
Also, check the independent dyno results that were just posted - provided by a guy with the Strup headers on a 350Z with nothing more than a popcharger on it! There's no mistaking the gains he got with these headers.

Easy install too. No need to lift the engine or drop the tranny in order to get access. Can be done by a competent shade-tree mechanic with part of a day to kill. Step by step install instructions included, along with a 2 year warranty!
Feel free to PM me with any questions.

They are based on a similar design to most of the short length headers out there, but there are differences in the design with regards to making the install easier than others by using different bends for ease of installation with regards to the limited space available. They've also been designed to be as close to equal length as possible. The middle tube on each pair is approx. 1 1/2" longer than the outside two - which are equal length.
Also, the quality of these headers is, from what we've seen on the market, better than most of those other companies with headers of a similar design. We spent a lot of time and energy researching the header companies out there, and felt that some of the others were too large scale and too mass-produced to base our company reputation on. There were too many variables and outside factors involved (like outsourcing the manufacturing and sourcing of materials to foreign companies) to allow room for situations like manufacturing defects, fitment issues, quality of welds and materials, etc.. We spent a lot of time working with Charlie Wenstrup of Strup Performance to realize that his company goals were in line with our own. And his attention to detail and quality exceeded what other companies have shown over time.
So, we proudly back and proudly sell Strup products and will gladly answer any questions and stand by Charlie.
Thanks.

I heard that the Xerd long-tube headers are an easier install. I can imagine them having a bit more space to work with since the cats are eliminated...Originally Posted by G352NV
