Strup Headers?
Strup Headers?
so ive tried searching, and honestly havent found out too much.
does anyone have any experience with these headers? i see they have a sale going on but am curious as to if it would be worth it to buy.
should i just save up for crawford headers? im really not too sure on which headers have the best gains. if anyone can shed some light. please do. thanks in advance! =)

If you're not familiar with the my350z.com forums, you might want to search there too. There are quite a few posts from people who have them on their Z who are VERY happy with them.
Gains are comparable to the rest on the market - one of our customers just performed an independent dyno test on his stock Z with only a pop charger on it and his gains were pretty impressive. Here's the direct link to that thread:

This is an install that can be performed by yourself if you've swung a wrench before and have a day to kill. Other headers like the Crawfords usually require a professional install since the engine will either need to be lifted or the tranny dropped in order to get them in place. They have a great design, but the difficulty with them is that they use ALL the available space in order to maximize performance - so the install takes more time and costs more money to get done - I've seen time quotes of anywhere from 6-10 hours to get it done by a shop.
