Fujitsubo Exhaust + Crawford Cats?

Any coupe owners with the Fujitsubo Exhaust, crawford cats setup can tell me how your car sounds like?? Any rasp? And how loud is it?? It would also be helpful if you list what headers you have too, if you happend to have headers also. Thank You.

I have it with stock headers. I think that it's perfect. Not too loud, excellent tone. I love it.

i have TopSpeed/Pro1 headers, Crawford cats, and the Fujitsubo Y-pipe and Exhaust... i don't really have what i describe as "rasp" (although this term is pretty subjective to the person). i DO have a sound like a hiss in the pipes at certain rpm/load. t is only at certain rpms, and I AM ALMOST POSITIVE it is from the headers... that being said... i am still in love with the sound of my exhaust.

whenever i want to smile on my way home from work, i roll down my windows, flip to MM mode and drop down 2 gears. if i go WOT in an enclosed space like a tunnel, and it sounds like the world is ending.

i can try to grab a video sound clip of it later today if you'd like

one other thing though... with my setup... on the highway, it gets alittle tiresome. because it is so deep sounding, if you're going at a constand speed, like 70mph (~2500rpm) it kind of drones alittle bit. it's not that bad, but it reminds me of my friend's big V8 pickup truck.

Hmm im going to hav ethe exact setup as you. I also have the top speed headers and about to get crawford cats and Fuji Exhaust. Except my Y pipe might be a little different, i might go with gruppe S which looks almost identical to fuji except that its just 2 pipes going to the outlet and theres isn't that thing in the middle that connects the 2 pipes before it reaches the outlet. I wonder if that will make the sound different. By the way is your setup loud at all? Is it loud under WOT? and is it loud under normal driving?? And notice any performance gains after adding cats and exhaust??

it's tough to gauge the "loudness" from inside the car... i can tell you that when i go WOT anybody nearby on the sidewalks almost always looks at me in shock... i'll try to grab a few sound clips, but i gotta dig out the old digicam since my digital SLR doesn't take video clips.

but, to give a simple answer, yes it is definitely louder than stock. you wont really notice this under normal low throttle driving. it starts to take on a much different tone around 3000 rpm all the way up to redline. my setup plays a very good compliment to the high pitched induction noise from my Z-tube/Popcharger, which used to overpower my exhaust note.

the Fuji itself is one of the more sedate exhausts for this car... that being said, any exhaust with high flow cats will be louder (stock exhaust included) and then when you add the headers you get even more volume

ok as promised, i went out alittle while ago and grabbed a bunch of sound clips. please right click and save them to your computer. as i've also said before, this is by far not the wildest or loudest exhaust setup... but personally, i love it

my setup is.... Z-tube, Popcharger, 3/8" Plenum Spacer, TopSpeed Headers, Crawford Cats, Fujitsubo Y-pipe, and Fujitsubo Legalis-R Exhaust

Great job man!

I also have the Fujitsubo and it's very tame. I'd say almost stock.

the video clips don't even do an adequate job of bringing across the sound. as i said before, i personally love it.

tunnels and overpasses give me goosebumps still... i've had this setup for months and sometimes i still floor it just to hear the VQ wind thru the gears.

now i just gotta figure out what the heck is the "tickling" noise i'm getting at idle and why she's throwing a CEL
