Anyone try Weapon R products?

I am trying to decide between a Ztube/Popcharger and the Secret weapon intake. I ahvent seen any info on these forums about weapon R, but I noticed modified Mag and Prostreet use it in their 350Zs.... the ad makes it come off a littel ricer though...

Never heard of it. Why don't you go test it for us. IMO get the z-tube and pop charger.

Talked to a few Eng. buddies and they say you can't really beat the Ztube/PC, so I'll just go with that.

^ got a dyno chart to prove it? the Z tube, or any similar made intake tube is fine. pair it with a Blitz filter, or an Injen/AEM, or HKS mushroom filter and it will be very good as well. personally, i'd go with the Blitz filter with a ztube. weaponR is okay. they've set the standard in the "rice" world. they have improved a lot though.

very interesting. i think G35Lin has it on his G sedan - but i may be mistaking. they do come up with some very interesting tests on that product page.

i emailed them a question:

I'm looking at your Infiniti Weapon R Secret Weapon Intakes:

http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/w...akes/infiniti/

I have 2003.5 Infiniti G35 Sedan. What is the difference between "MAF WITH GREY TYPE PLUG" and "MAF WITH BLACK TYPE PLUG"? - which plug is this, exactly?

Also, have you guys tested this product and compared it with another popular combination - JWT pop charger and 3" resonator-less OEM intake tube from 350z?

I had the Weapon *R intake in my previous VQ35 Maxima, and there were excellent gains in airflow, performance, and of course sound.

I think they have headquarters in South San Francisco. I wouldn't mind making a visit out to them...

Don't knock the company for the rice they're known for selling... they make custom parts too, and the quality is pretty nice.
