Just installed Injen...does it really rob this much low end?

Hey guys. Just installled an Injen exhuast on my 2005 AT coupe. (I didnt want to hijack g35shawns thread so I started a new one). My car feels considerably slower. Down low and up high. I mean considerbly. I hear no exhaust leaks. I dunno. It takes my 8+ seconds to reach 60mph. Is this normal. A TD can't be robbing THIS much power. Please help.

Strange, my Butt Dyno felt like it improved my low end power.

I believe after a few days the ECU should reset itself to accomodate the new intake. Or you can reset it yourself.

Keep us updated.,

mikeymike - the thread is for the Injen SES Exhaust not the intake.

You can reset it manually by disconnecting the battery for 12 hours, or doing that crazy method where you pump the gas, brake, etc etc...

From my understanding of other people's posts...the ECU self adjusts itself to new mods after a few days.

Give couple of days, you'll be alright, meanwhile drive the car like you stole it.
Just becarefull with them damn rocks on the road cause the cannister is not double wrapped therefore just a small rock can ding the exhaust.

Ok...the problem was I was also FI and took the cog off. People said you could do that but didnt say that it screws with your car's intake. I had taken it off a day before but didnt realize the loss of power till after the exhaust install. I put the cog back on and all is good. Thanks guys. It was just a problem of drag on the engine

8 seconds to reach 60 ?.....your car can do that on 3 cylinders...there is a disconnect somewhere.
