Esprit Front Pipe

Anyone has some info on this? It seems to be replacing the stock y pipe and midpipe.

Interesting. The extended runners could potentally improve torque. The design looks like it could allow perfect fitment too. The price is $695 though. I might have to email Warpspeed Performance this pic and see what they could come up with. They'd probably do it for $350-400, but it wouldn't be made out of super high grade stainless. Hell, I had their alumnized y-pipe on my Maxima for 3 years there wasn't one spec of rust after 3 salty winters in Kansas City. $160 for the alumnized pipe or $280 for the stainless. Same power. Which would your choose? With alumnized piping, you could knock the cost down at least $100.

Not that we get THAT much snow up here in the D.C area but i'd take stainless over aluminium for my exhaust if the difference was only $100, nevertheless it's a great idea and if the they can quote u on that i'm sure it'll be some interest.
Anyone have sizing or dyno info on this?

FYI, lower grade stainless like most aftermarket companies use will rust. Higher grade alumnized piping sometimes fairs better than this lower grade stainless. Take a look at your G's midpipe. That's a low grade stainless and it does rust.

Just go titanium already then There are probably not may dyno's on this because this product limits a lot of things. For instance, you may not be able to use a lot of exhausts out there due to the fact that it replaces the mid-pipe. Another is the fact that it's relatively freaking expensive and hard to get, being a JDM part and all. Fuji Y-pipe would probably be a better deal.

But it's runner tubes aren't nearly as long.

^ Fuji doesn't have a resonator, i think(because i haven't actually measured) that the runners are nearly the same. The fuji just seems smaller because you dont look at the fuji bolted up together with its midpipe. I think you are talking about thetwo individual primary pipes that attach to the cats then converge at the resonator.
