New plenum, same engine cover?

I'd really like to keep my engine cover over my kintex plenum... It looks possible... is it?

It'd be really ugly without it =\

The car runs better without the engine cover. The plenum temps are lower when the cover is off. It has been tested. You will have to look at the treads about Motordyne's Iso thermal kit.

My engine cover is in my closet

If possible I'm keeping it, because that would be fugly to take off, I'd be willing to sacrofise a little bit of power for that.

Will the ztube bother it?

Actually it isn't ugly at all. I got a Crawford Plenum - it's gloss black and it looks great in there. The z-tube wont affect the engine cover.

I though so too at first, but now I like the look of the cover off. I even forgot I had the cover off b/c I don't open the hood very often.
