Yes, you have the RevUp engine. The 5/16" spacer by itself will not afford the RevUp engines much of a benefit. You may want to consider the MREV or MREV with the optional MREV Plus set-up. There are plenty of MREV related threads to read . . . Or you can simply gp directlty to Tony's site.

Or you could read the definitions I took the time to write above:
Quote: First of all, for anyone who is confused here are some definitions:
1. Rev-Up Engine: The engine that comes with the 05 and 06 6MT cars. It is rated at 298 HP from Infiniti and has a redline at 6900 RPM and a rev-limiter at 7200 RPM. The MREV will only work with this engine.
2. Non-Revup Engine: The engine that comes with all 03-04 models and all 03+ 5AT models. It is rated at either 260 or 280 HP depending on if you have a sedan AT and what model year it is. Redline on this engine is around 6100 (i cant remember the exact number). All motordyne plenum spacers will work with this engine, but the MREV will not.
Just thought I would clear that up for people who may be confused as to what engine they have and what will work with it.

OK, I personally am sold on the idea of spacers. I have installed a Skunk2 on my own ride and notice a nice gain above 4k. But I do have some questions:

What makes the MD different? and perhaps more importantly what is different about the MREV and the standard spacer? I'd like to hear details, because honestly, just judging from the pics I've seen (so I'm no expert), I don't see any substantial differences in design between the three. (Skunk, MD, MD MREV) Can someone explain?

MREV uses the so called standard spacer in addition to the pre RevUp lower collector for the '05+ 6MT G's. This is what make the biggest difference for the '5+ 6MT G's.

so basiucally the Mrev is the 2003-2004 lower collector along with a spacer and all the necessary hardware to install it right?

Correct, and dont forget the ISO thermal materials that helps absorb heat soak. The MREV Plus option that includes all of the above but instead of a standard 2003-2004 lower collector, there is a modified 2003-2004 lower collector allowing more air to get to cylinders 1&2 to give a little more top end power.

Just recieved mine today 2 days early (not that it's gonna do me any good with the car sitting in the garage for most of the winter up here in Pa). Can't wait to install it and enjoy the high. Great customer service from Dave over at Parts Shippers.

skunk spacer is like 5/8 inch thick and is only that...the spacer... no other options available like what motordyne offers...

motordyne has 5/16 inch and 1/2 inch and a plethora of options available to cover the different motors of different years...

look up motordyneengineering.com and you can get more detailed info....

i ordered mine like two weeks ago but apparently g35parts.com don't have it back in stock yet so it's still a waiting game...
