These pipes just do what they are made for...ELIMINATE the stock cats which are restrictive. The stock cats are there for a purpose which among other things is to clean the exhaust from some of his odors. Now buying and installing these or any part without understanding what might be the consequences is not very smart so next time do some research, it might save you time and trouble.
As far as the sound…that opinion rest in the ear of the beholder.

I was finally able to get my car dyno and tuned with the resonated test pipes and the results were....well see for yourself

Stock=Red
Green=Mods: UTEC, Resonated Test Pipes 2.5 inch

28 WHP and 13 FT/LB Peak GAIN with the Res. test pipes and a UTEC tuned!!!

Please note that I had previously gained about 12whp with just the UTEC tuned.
The car is lot more responsive and pulls hard to till redline in every gear, thanks to the guys @ TXS for making my G35 so much more fun to drive.

Trey...everything makes you horny LOL, J/K Very impressive #'s Beta, I think that is one of the first UTEC Dyno's I have seen, one of my buddies just got his and he was already running mid 13's NA without the UTEC, looks to be a VERY worthwhile mod, thanks for the info.

Um, I think that's the first time I've ever used that on the forum
Regardless, those kind of improvements do make me quite jealous. I see a UTEC in my future. (As I write this Cheryl is reading over my shoulder with a "whatever" look on her face). Hell, it's cheaper than going FI.

Wanna swap wives?
