I want to add an intake to my 06 MT Coupe. What will be the best performing intake and also best sounding. I do not want anythign that is loud or anooying or droning sounding. I want soemthing with a nice smooth sound and perfomance gains

 

I like the popcharger w/heat shield and ztube. Its easy to install doesnt require removing the front bumper and its sounds the best. Not sure if it has the best performance compared to others but sounds damn good under wot.

Yes I agree, do a search. I'll add my .02 however. Here is a link to what the z-tube and K&N filter sounds like when its revving. Keep in mind, I also have the MREV mod, but I have seen another post from a member saying he got this same noise with just the z-tube/k&n filter. Also, its sounds about the same untill you get above 4.5k, then, especially at WOT, the induction noise is much louder and smoother, but not annoying. Good luck
