maybe for your tips to flush or stick out a lil from your bumper...looks like they are too far back, or maybe its just the angle of the pic

Nope it's not the angle of the pict. The Z's tips are not as long as the G. Look at a Z from under the bumper, and you'll see that the muffler is closer to the rear end, than it is on a G. Also, look at the tips on the stock exhaust on a Z or G, you'll see that the Gs are longer. To make it flush, extensions would need be added to the pipes coming out of the muffler, or replace the tips with longer ones. However, IMO, this exhaust looks fine, it may with time, however, stain the bumper.

My stock exhaust was already staining my bumper, so its not gonna be any diffrent with this Just wash the car regularly and it won't be a problem. If you don't wash it for a long time, then its a b**** to get it clean later.

The fitment was fine. I didn't have any trouble installing it or anything. The tips are centered, I think its just the angle of the picture that makes it look not centered.

No rasp from the exhaust, I kinda have a little but I think thats from not having any cats. I had a horrible rasp with the stock exhaust and no cats.

No, you don't need the Y-pipe, but you will need the exhaust adapter piece from Performance Nissan.

so your running catless test pipes? Also the 3 inch exhaust will bolt up to the stock y-pipe?

Yes, I am running no cats and yes, it should bolt up to the stock y-pipe.

can u get some far shots of the rear bumper with the exhaust and is it loud? I would hate to be driving above 3K rpm and have this dronning effect on the freeway. Also does it come with silencer?

I'll take more pics and sound clips when I get the chance. I'm really busy at work all day, and when I get off work its about to get dark.

What other mods do you have? I have CAI, headers, test-pipes and the y-pipe. So its fairly loud, but not unbearable. It can be driven quite, but roars when you floor it.

Ah yea. Megan racing exhaust. I was looking into this exhaust before. It's a Z exhaust. Sweet looking exhaust.. You need to use an extension for the piping.. and also reweld the tips to have them longer..

I love those tips though.

Looks pretty nice. I wish someone would make an inexpensive exhaust that looks like that minus the titanium colored tips.

One more question... any drone at highway speeds? I drive 800 mile roundtrip between Ohio and Virginia quite often so I can't have an exhaust that drones. Thanks

I haven't really noticed any, but then again I wasn't paying attention for it. I'll listen next time I cruise on the freeway for a while. That is if I can get out of SoCal traffic hahaha. Also like I said, we all have diffrent supporting mods, so our results may differ.
