Thanks andy. I'll check it out.

On a side note, does anyone know if there is a front strut tower bar available for the G? Also, if it will fit with the MREV plus mod? Thanks.

No strut tower bar has been sold for the G that I know of yet. The Z can not be used as the AC lines are conigured differerently and the plenum is a problem I believe. Anyone with a spacer or revised plenum would have a problem even if it were available.

I am interested in having an X brace designed for the G but I haven't found anyone that can spec it out. I have a fabricator that can do it but he needs a drawing...

Well DC sport advertises that they have a front STB for the G. I'm not completely sure as I haven't investigated this yet. As for the X-brace check out GT-spec they have a X-brace for our cars.

I wonder what you have to do to get the DC one installed. I have a plenum so probably wont be checking it out. But thanks for the heads up on the x brace!

Sure thing. I'm planning on getting the MREV plus so I don't know if a STB will fit but I'm looking for one that will. If I find one I'll be sure to let you know.

does anyone have any pictures on how to install the air filter on a 2005 G35? or instructions ?
I was able to replace mine but it was a real pain I unhooked the 4 latches and then had to push the air filter housing and pull the air filter out. it was REALLY tight pulling it out

Well, I've yet to see what the DC sport one looks like, but check the one from Wargod on this forum he's selling his version for $400. That version will definitely fit with the plenlum spacer as it goes in front of the motor instead of on top.

400 seems a tad high for a strut bar. I think I like the idea of the GT spec bar. There seem to be several configurations using 3 or 4 different pieces. I am wary of the one in the rear that leaves little or no clearance for the exhaust pipe. I'm thinking about the front bar and the 4 point mounted brace. At that point if I need any more rigidity I should just get the M!
