I was thinking of ordering test pipes for my coupe. Any suggestions on where to order from? For those who already have them, do you think they are worth it?

 

Ya know, I've never seen a single member here or on the other G35 forum mention they have them or their going to get them. If you want to find out what you can get go to www.MY350Z.com and join the site so you can run a search "test pipes", you will get lots of hits and lots of answers. I want the basic LSDunique pipes for $175. I would say to avoid any pipe that use's a 3" diameter.

I just installed a set on my G this weekend. First off it was not all that a difficult process. It made the car a little louder, but at idle unnoticable. It is a little deeper and has a bit of a growl over 3k under full throttle. I was planning on doing a write up on it so other members know how to do it. The car definately feels stronger. I have been ripping up through the rev band more over the last 2 days then since I got the car. If you are not plagued by inspections I heartily recomend it, Even yearly with inspections, it would probably take an hour or so to swap back to stock. IMHO, a worthwile mod.

The RX has left the building, I have been driving the G for about 6 weeks!!!!

 

alexthecorrupt had some test pipes on his auto G35 coupe. It was loud. It was actually pretty annoying when I fallowed him.
