andy- Just a lil' FYI, you're gonna get flamed for askin' questions like this. It's alright to ask questions. Most people here are helpful and polite, but have you used the search button? You'll get lots of feedback to help you narrow down the selection. My personal vote, go Nismo if you're gonna go CAI.

Take care.

Welcome to the site.

I would do some research on intakes before spending any money. The G35 has a very good stock intake, which pulls air from the front of the grill. Most after market kits are what I refer to as "hot air intakes" and actually hurt performance.

One thing you might consider is adding a "Z Tube" (from the 350z)which replaces the stock G35 tube and silencer between the throttle body and air cleaner box. At about $75 it is will improve air flow and give your car a more aggressive intake sound.

Welcome Andy, and congrats on the new ride...

Under the 'FORUMS' category in the header, click on Search....then key in "Cold Air Intakes".
That'll keep you reading for a while.

C.

Forget the intake and get the 5/16" Motordyne Plenum spacer, way better bang for the buck
