i had a rattle in my exhaust when it was cold. i originally thought a weld busted on one of the sound bafflings. but when we put it up on the lift when the car was cold, we found a clearance issue w/ a cross member. (result of driving downtown during construction and hitting an exposed manhole) nothing a big hammer couldn't fix. not sure about the brace though ...

Exhaust Insulation Wrap?
Hey there.

It sounds like I have a similar issue, and I have been recommended exhaust wrap as a solution. I will probably be going with it next month.

I'll keep you posted (if it works!).
