Exhaust Mid Pipe Question

I have an 04 5AT Coupe with some various engine mods including a GReddy SP2 axle back exhaust. I know it's not a popular exhaust, but I like the looks and the sound (deeper than stock) but wish it were a bit louder. How would it sound if I removed the midpipe muffler, resonator or whatever it is? Would I lose low end power because of less back pressure? Does anyone make that piece without the muffler or would I have to have it custom made?

How did you remove the resonator? Does anyone make the straight pipe so I could put the stock one back on if I wanted to?

Holy Crap, I hope you don't think removing those
resonaters sounds good! I wouldn't make it a day
without getting busted here in Ca with a raspy
exhaust like that. Sounds like two Hondas butt
forking.....haha

Well, I was hoping the rasp was due to the stock rear muffler and that it might sound better with my GReddy. Maybe not. Anyone seen or heard the Stillen Silver Series? They have it on sale for $649. Any other recommendations? I really don't want to spend $1,000 or more.
