Y Pipe Question

I got headers and plenum spacer and it sounds pretty nice right now.. i wanted to find out if i get a Y pipe. is that gonna make it sound raspy or it wouldnt make that much of a difference? cuz i heard test pipes do make it sound raspy..

No sound difference with y pipe swap

The y pipe will not change the sound of your exhaust, just the flow. The stock y is very restrictive and any decent aftermarket one will be better than the mesh stock version.

Test pipes replace the stock Catalytic converter which is used to resonate sound and filter emissions. Test pipes also are not road legal where as any after cat exhaust pieces can be changed
