Dual Exhaust on Sedan

Is there a kit out there that can make a true dual exhaust on a sedan. If so than tell which brand, how much, and post a picture.

I think I wasn't clear in my post, but I would like dual mufflers out the back like the Nissan Altima SE-R has.

Is there any kits like this out for the car or does it have to be custom done??

It's almost physically impossible and its been discussed many times in the past. On the opposite side of the stock muffler there is no room for another muffler because the condenser resides where the other muffler would. If you could find somone that would be willing to relocate it then you could do a dual exhaust but it would cost you a nice wad of cash in the end. Prolly more than the price of the exhaust itself. NOT WORTH IT.

As dumb as it sounds, I almost didnt buy my car becasue it doesnt have dual exhaust. (Obviously I am glad I bought it) I have exhaust plans from Infiniti of the 05 coupe and sedan. After doing some research, it definitely wouldn't be cheap. (The bumber would have to be modified) If anyone else has suggestions, I would love to hear them.

I love the look of symmetric dual exhaust and wish the G35 had it even if it wasn't true dual. People have looked into it but as far as I know, nobody has done it because it's pretty much impossible like gdup said.

Thanks for the information. I will look at getting the Borla or Stillen than. Does Borla have the exhaust out for an 06 Sedan? Does anyone have the Borla exhaust on their sedand? I would like to hear sound clips of it. Iam not looking for a really load exhaust, but just a throaty sound which I think thats what the Borla system does for the car.

dont know exactly what it's for, haven't looked into it. I just know that it's there and it would be a pain in the *** and a half to relocate it (plus, where in the hell are you going to relocate it to?????). You'll end up spending over $1200 to relocate the condensor and get a custom dual exhaust.

word.. im def gonna need to look into this.. i've seen it, but me and my buddy @ a local exhaust shop were lookin at it briefly when they replace that center muffler and said it looks like a possibility. I work @ a ford dealer, so i generally have access to alot of supplies, so imma get the car up on a rack and take a look.. maybe when it stops rainin tho, lol. I dont kno about the exhaust costing over $1200, tho, depending on what "exactly" needs to be relocated. depending on the mufflers being used, but luckily my dealership is in close relations w/ borla, so im sure we can make something up and the exhaust shop we use is really good and inexpensive too.. they only charged me 30bucks to replace the silencer/muffler contraption.

If you can find a way to do then more power to you, i just dont think it's going to be worth the time and constant headaches.

i hear you bro, i just dont give in so easily to what everyone says. i built my own turbo'd hatch myself w/ alot ot things people said wasnt possible and i started making custom stainless parts for Srt 4's, so I got a bus license and have a pretty good supplier for parts if need be. And Our dealership is where borla and vortech get their cars(Fords) for prototyping so, we have a good relationship w/ them.. shoot.. one of the guys here(we bought out g's 2gether) has an '04 cobra and he wanted it to sound like his built 91 lx, so he called borla.. 2 days later, they came out, took measurements and made him a full catback for his stang, for free... he's more of a mustang fanatic.. but he's slowly turning.. i think he's been researching springs/coilovers for his 2 week old car for the past 5 days!..

btw.. if anyone knows if you can get teins w/ a custom (softer) spring rate, let me kno! thanks
