So true duals, like the HKS come with an H pipe and not a Y pipe?

I've seen a vendor say this

HKS HI-POWER EXHAUST SYSTEM

INFINITI G35 Coupe 2003+ ; Full Dual Polished SUS304 Stainless Steel Piping w/Dual Titanium Tips (adjustable length), Includes Y Pipe

Hey Slick........ can you take a pic at about bumper height a couple car lengths back. I'd like to see just how much of the mufflers you can actually see. Seems to tuck up pretty good. I like the looks of just the tips out back. Thanks in advance. BTW Looks nice.

There is no Y-Pipe. That vendor is wrong. A Y-Pipe means that both side of the exhaust come together and merge into one pipe which then goes into one muffler. This is NOT the case with the HKS. There are two separate pipes that go into two separate mufflers in the back. Instead of a Y-Pipe there is an H-Pipe. The two separate pipes have a section that merges the two in the middle.

RebelinRI = I'll take those requested pics for you later today when I do the videos. The mufflers do tuck up there pretty perfectly IMO.

haha ... Look at my original post! I put a thanks to you up there for the assistance on the install! I totally forgot about the help on the way home as I was concentrating on listening to my car on the way back!

Anywho ... THANKS AGAIN for the help!!!!!

And you should be thanking me for giving you twice as much money as you asked for the install. haha

Sweeeet! It looks great! I installed my HKS last Friday evening and then left the car at home over the Holiday weekend. Today was my first real opportunity to really check it out. I trust you are enjoying your new set-up as much as I am.

The thing that really sucks about this exhaust is my gas mileage .... I just can't stay off the gas pedal... I got 320 miles on my last tank of gas which is only 18.8 MPG... I love this set-up!

You get 320 ahahhaahhah

you must have some 4 cyl soul in yours. I havent been over 240miles a tank yet in city driving. I barely even rev pass 4k ... just your regular 20mph stop and go nyc traffic.

Great! I guess my mpg will take a nose dive for the next few tanks of gas. Yes, it's hard to stay off of the throttle. Hopefully, this phase will pass very soon.

Lol, yeah... I mainly drive highways throughout the day 75-90 cruising speeds... I can't believe the power from 80 - 110 with this.. the speedo just steadily climbs and climbs w/ no hesitation...
