I have just installed the Borla system and removed my Stillen system. Here are a few things that I have noted:
The pipe diameter of the Stillen system is 2.5" and the Borla is 2.25". The Stillen pipes are of a much heavyer gauge. The factory tips are 4", the Stillen tips are 4", and the Borla tips are either 4.25" or 4.5", don't remember. I had to "adjust" the two hangers on the Borla muffler with a 3lb sledge to get them to line up with the rubber hangers. The single Borla muffler is much lighter in weight than the double Stillen mufflers. The Stillen system installed much easier than the Borla - less pieces! The sound of the two systems is very similar with maybe the Stillen just a little louder and the Borla maybe just a little deeper. At idle, I can't hear the Borla running but you could with the Stillen. I still can hear my "Z" intake with Stillen K&N air box over the exhaust system. I would rather have it the other way around!

I'm going to leave the Borla system on the car because I'm just getting tired of changing systems.

So - - - does anyone want to buy my Stillen system that has somewhere between 1200 and 1500 miles on it? I will be selling it for $900 plus shipping which is 25% less than I paid for it. It looks like new. Will fit either the G35 or the Z.
