http://cgi.ebay.com/MEGAN-RACING-STAINLESS-STEEL-HEADERS-03-05-04-350Z-G35_W0QQitemZ8042445303QQcategoryZ33631QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

avoid cheap-*** ebay ****

****, it's a 4-6hr install, do you want to do it again when your cheap *** **** cracks?

best headers are going to be top speed/strup/alphawerks (all essentially copies of eachother (and in the grand design of it all, copies of nismo)).......crawford is the top of the line, but compare paying 300+4hr install for top speed or whatever vs 1200 +8-10hr install for crawford, not worth an extra 2 or 3hp

The Strup headers seem to be quite reasonably priced and afford really good gains from what I understand.

wasn't there a header that didn't require you to lift or tilt the engine, thereby reducing install time/cost?

That would be the Strup header. There is a sale on these headers at the moment.

Bull - My Friend. You get what you pay for, and it's proven that Crawford rocks. My install was only $425.00. The Crawford Headers made the most significant improvement of any mode I've ever done. The Crawfords are the only long tube header (26") that will take a cat, and they are only one of three header makers that use a real collector, the others being Nismo and BRM. All the other headers out there are cookie cutter designs, except the Borla (which makes no gains). For an inexpensive header, all should perform about the same. DC, Strup, Alphawerks and etc.

do you even know what you're talking about. longtubes are, by definition, ones that run w/o cats. you can't call crawford longtubes

XERD is the ONLY longtube out there for the VQ

Do you insist on calling everybody out when someone refers to the crawfords as longtubes? You were just corrected recently over on my350z, when someone(can't remember who) stated that the crawfords are called longtube for two reasons: first, crawford themselves refer to them as long tube, and second because the tubing is actually longer than any other(possibly excluding xerd, don't know).

they're not longtubes

oh my god, so the company calls them longtubes.....hey that must mean that the turbonater is actually a twin turbo because that's what the company refers to it as!@!@!!@!

While i'm at it, I'm going to start referring to my z-tube as a supercharger.
