Hey guys...I just got my HKS Hi-Power exhaust installed earlier this week and it looks great (Pics will be posted VERY soon). It sounds great...except when I hit about 4500-5500 rpms. This is mainly caused by my test pipes I had installed a while back (cat-delete pipes, no brand name). Now I wanted to put my cats back on, but surprise surprise...I sold them on Ebay! I also don't wanna buy the whole cat pipe system again for the insane amount that Infiniti wants for them. I also don't wanna buy off Ebay cause...you never know. So finally, does anyone know what I should do? Maybe try to buy some brand name test pipes like Stillen's or Helix? Would that take away that ricey sound at high revs? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys and pics and sound clips will be up ASAP. Thanks again guys.

 

As far as i know Test Pipes add more noise to the exhaust. So buying a different brand will just be giving the same extra noise.

labree test pipes are the most quiet

 

I also put mine on last night, music to my ears. I still have original cats on but i'm considering headers and aftermarket cats. Any thoughts on headers with this exhaust system?

HKS Comes with everything pictured below... I have had this on for a little over a month now and I LOVE IT... It looks HOT from behind and sounds just great!

I don't have any sound clips but I believe there is a sticky with sound clips on this forum and on my350Z.

 

There's no sticky on this site, I checked the sticky on my350z but didn't see one for HKS. I'll find it, gotta keep looking.
