If you know A LOT about vq35's, help me out
Hey guys,
Although I don't have a G35, I have the VQ35de engine in my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder ... The only engine mods I have dont to it - Stillen Intake and catback exhaust ...
I wanted to add a plenum spacer and after reading on here it seems like Motordyne is the way to go. I checked on their website, they make them for the Z, g35, m35 and fx35 ... I spoke to someone there who said it might fit on my pathfinder if it has the same intake manifold as the Z. He said he would need to see a picture of the engine without the cover on. I'm not handy at all so I dont even have any tools to do this. I was just wondering if anyone here would know if it would work?
Thanks I'll attach a pic of my engine with cover on just for the hell of it ..

Even if it would fit, you wouldnt want to do it. The Pathfinder VQ manifold is tuned for low-end torque, not upper RPM flow where the G spacers/plenums have their gains. Truck engines want long intake runners. BTW, that cone filter is insane. Are you trying to suck the paint off of the hood?
