Is there a louder/deeper CAI than my Z-tube / Pop Charger?

Is there any CAI or short-ram intake that is a lot louder and deeper than the JWT Pop Charger / Z-tube combo? I was very happy with the results of the p/c but now I am thinking about changing it if there is an improvement. If there are any negativities to a CAI please tell me or just let me know if I should keep what I have if its not worth the difference. Also please dont suggest an exhaust or plenum / spacer.

Thanks in advance!

The sound frequency of the air pulses being forced into air filter by the Earth's atmosphere is a function of rpm. 3 pulses [V6] per rpm /60.

4,000 rpm =66.66 x 3 = 200Hz .....6000 rpm =300Hz

+1 on Weapon-R - it's quite a bit louder (no, not annoying) and actually works very well. and looks great.

Are you able to buy a separte heat shield for the Weapon-R?? If so can you post where you found a place to buy just a heat shield.

I live in OC as well, so if you want to hear the set up let me know. I've got the Weapon-R with a Stillen cat back. I also just added the MD spacer which I believe added a little bit more.

I just installed the Nismo CAI on my 06 G35 6mt and it is very loud especialy when you stomp on the gas at high rpm's. Although the Intake is sold through Nismo, the kit is made by AEM for Nissan. It is a very clean setup and a fairly simple install with the filter going all the way to the inside of the front bumper. I could tell a difference with the power of my car and even more so when i installed the HKS dual ti exhaust. The two of these items together are an awesome match. If you plan on using this intake i suggest you invest in a AEM bypass valve so you dont hydrolock your engine if you happen to submerge your intake.
