MREV: Idle Question

I havent really paid attention to my idle until after installing my MREV+ ISO Thermal. Basically i did notice that with the A/C on its idling around ~800rpm and without a/c around ~500-600rpm. Its not like the idle is rough as heck, but i did notice a little shake here and there when the A/C is off. I'm not sure if this is a change caused by the MREV since I only really started paying attention to it recently. I did have to disconnect the throttle body for the copper iso thermal installation, but i did the throttle pedal re-learning procedures.

Anyone else have a similar experince? This may just be normal (a lil vibration here and there).

I noticed the same thing and im having the dealer do a consult procedure to learn air curve ratio at idle to see if it smooths it out.

Hmmm . . . I haven't noticed any unusual idling characteristics, yet. It's been close to 6 months and some 7k plus miles since the MREV+ install. Idling smoothly at 600 rpm and 800 rpm with the AC on.

Its probably just normal idle.

I have a brand new 350Z revup with 1200 miles (totally stock for now) and I noticed it even has a little lumpyness at idle. I think thats just how the engine is.

try spraying carburator cleaner around the sealing surfaces to check. This has happened when a piece of the stock gasket gets folded over on itself during installation.

I see oyu have the K&N did you install it at the same time? have you tried cleaning the maf? It could be soiled and if the maf isn't realying correct informaiton the AF trim would be improperly computed.

Also, any engine temp problems?

manual says 650+/- is normal idle speed. So 500 would be really low. is it always at 500 or just an occasional dip to 500?

sorry if it seems like I am post whoring...

The manual recommends the following for idle problems:

The Accel Pedal learning (which have completed.)
Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
Idle Air Volume Learning
