ism,

i think it sounds friggin awesome. it's such a deep and vicious tone. if you got gains of that much and it sounds that great from the clips, it's all about the price now mang. any ballpark range? if it's anywhere close to HKS, people will go with HKS because it's trusted. any price range in mind from the designers?

Wow, I didn't realize that you could gain that much from exhaust and test pipes.

Yea - we've had ranges posted earlier - but just to recap I think they have pricing starting in the $800-$1000 range for catback and up - in aluminized pipe to stainless to polished stainless. The mufflers are polished in all cases.

They also have the resonated test pipes (not in the catback system) - with 8" resonators and perforated cores and a set of headers coming in the near future as well.

Hot setup, sound and performance-wise. Highest quality components as well.

For me - I had the HKS, as well as other systems, and this one just doesn't drone, it has the throaty sound the others miss, and keeps that great howl we all love on these cars and amplifies it - so you'll get more of what you love. The thing I think the other manufacturers missed - and perhaps they weren't trying either - was that the other systems completly change the sound of the car - not enhance it.

The Fast Intentions exhaust enhances it - you don't get a headache from these components. It's not like after a few weeks - you start trying to figure out if adding different or additional resonators might tone it down or not.

You know - why would you spend money like that to rip it apart and try to re-invent it? It's a waste.

I just think - and by your post I think you agree - they just got it right the first time - so you wont have to mess with it once you have it installed or install it yourself.

Thoughts?

Rick

Yea - nothing done to it at all. The car didn't have intake or anything installed....bone stock base model 350Z. ECU was reset as we started the process.

Will this fit the "X" cars?

Thanks. Many AWD drivers are clutching their cash waiting for options.

We have not fitted for sedans or X models at this time...does not mean that they wont - but we have not investigated those options at this time.

We will....

Okay, I'm sold. By the time I finish renovating and selling my next flip I'll have some money to buy everything from the engine back. This will get me ready to go FI. Still kicking myself for getting the auto.

Ok I'm pretty intrigued at this point, I'm guessing the sedan systems will end up being a little less (judging on other manufacturers). I'd really like to see what they bring to the plate for sedan owners considering we always seem to be the black sheep.

I'm impressed from what I have seen & with headers thrown in the mix; this will be very intersting to see what #'s can be thrown down. I'm going to be on the sideline until you release them B/C I want to swap it all out in one shot. Best of luck with it.

The system rocks with headers! I have headers on my G35C and there is a Ferrari/Audi/Porsche dealer in the area and they love it when I go buy. At first they could tell what it was that went buy - Lambo or what - then couldn't believe it when they realized it was a G!

Do you happen to have any clips of your G? I've seen the other clips already of the 350z with the exhaust. It was good but just a little too windy that day. I'm trying to see how it sounds on a G since I have one also.

All of the clips and videos are being redone this weekend and will be reposted later next week.

As for my G - likely not until next week as well. My car has extensive mods - so you can't judge my sound as compared to other G's as a general comparison. Most G's don't undergo heavy engine modifications
