As far as backpressure and stuff it should be fine though right...shouldn't mess with my supercharger right.
Correct - there should be no issues for supercharger applications.

Yes - currently the systems will have the Magnaflow resonated x-pipe. Sebring is in the process of manufacturing the Fast Intentions designed version that will replace it sometime around June or July.

There will not be any changes to performance or sound in the system with this change. The reason for the change is to keep all the components from the same manufacturer and to keep continuity in the system.

Will the redesigned x-pipe by sebring look any different than the magnaflow one? Will the price change as well? Are you positive that the sound and performance will not change, as I don't want to purchase the system now and find out later in june or july that the newer version is better. Thanks.

As far as I know at this time it has been designed to be the same outside shape and size - somewhat of a copy - only by Sebring and their talents. Cost and exhaust note is not at all expected to change.

Hi All,

Just wanted to update everyone that my car will not have the system on until sometime next week - Since our system is physically longer than the 350z, further adjustments are underway by Fast Intentions to accompany this change. None of the parts will be different, just extended.

To comment a bit further - here's what's up:

There's more to it than just extending the mid section based on how the system is designed. As you know, the system does not use clamps, and is based completely on flanges, which brings far more integrity to the system structurally. As they started the test fit, they also noticed a few inches short in the rear section of the system vs. the 350Z version of the build.

The clamp-based versions of the exhaust systems can easily compensate for this by having the slack made up in the slip fits, thereby not having to have 2 completely different systems built for the cars.

This may delay things a week, maybe two - but they're still on track based on our initial 6-8 week estimates overall.

Does the x-pipe delete the O2 sensors? I know most of the test pipes will eliminate the sensors and might cause the CEL to come on. Can't wait til this system is available tho.

This is a catback exhaust system - so they x-pipe is after the cats - therefore the O2 sensors are not affected at all. Resonated testpipes are not part of a catback system - as those would be cat replacement systems.

Now - with that said - Fast Intentions does have resonated test pipes - that do incorporate the O2 sensor bungs as well as A/F test bungs for tuning. They are for off road use only, as all testpipes are, as the cats are deleted with their use. A CEL can be caused to come on if used, and spark plug non-foulers have been used in the past to clear that issue.

Hope that answers the question.

I've heard of people using 1/4" spacers on the O2 sensor to get rid of the CEL issue. Never had to try it myself. The theory is that it gets the sensor a bit more out of the way of the exhaust flow therefore giving it a lower reading. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
