Just to be clear, Isn't the magnaflow X-pipe non-perforated? Isn't that going to change the tone of the exhaust? Do you have a cut away view of the Sebring X-pipe?

Sorry - if you look at the pics - your have the completely wrong part to begin with. It's not an x-pipe - it's a perforated x-pipe. It's muffled.

Look at the linked pics...

To be clear - for those that don't understand:

A perforated x-pipe has to be housed in a canister - it can't just be out in the open - you'll have the exhaust leak of a lifetime!

A perforated x-pipe has a bunch of holes in it - therefore it is in a housing. Basically it's a muffler - with the perforated x-pipe inside - with lots of packing all around it.

I hope that clears things up.

Thanks, but I can't find a magnaflow perforated x-pipe anywhere. That's why I'm confused, is your product using a modified version of the magnaflow x-pipe?

I don't recall the part number off hand - this one is longer than the one we're using though - same base unit though.

There is flex in the system. We have retained the rubber mounts and allowed for system torquing with the use of flanges for all of the coupled joints.

We have also verified that there is no binding in the system - unlike most all of the other systems - which then require flex joints. I have noticed with most all of the of the clamped systems, that there is a lot of binding that occurs - primarily because exact fitment cannot be guaranteed with slip fit systems - hence the use of clamps. This system is designed to be an exact fitment - no clamps at all - all flanged.

There should be no issues with cracking at all. I have been running this system on my car for thousands of miles already, with headers as well for many miles with zero issues - the test car has may miles too.

Maybe you need a test up car here in Canada as well.....you know, all the cold weather and 6000ft. above sea level may have an unforseen impact on it....mmmmm, i wonder where you could get a volunteer ^_^
