Just wondering if you had to choose which headers would you choose and why, Strupp or Topseed?

they're basically the same thing

i had strup and then sold mine for a profit and picked up a set of topspeed's because I got them really cheap - everything (welds, etc...) looked identical between the two.

I'd go with whatever fits your bugget if I was you, but I'm more inclined towards the Strupp headers.

huh, never heard of lifiting the engine to install headers on our car. i had topspeed headers installed on my 04 x and they didn't have to lift anything. although they did have to drop the steering rack.

All these headers are pretty much the same. All but crawford. If you were to ask me if they are worth it I would say none but crawford. I hate to say this but Nissan did a great job with these motors. Trying to get anymore HP out of them without FI just doesnt happen. But hey what do I know.

I was leaning toward the strupp b/c I heard the install was the easiest, but I also heard that Strupp, Topspeed, and Alphaworks are all pretty much the same. Can anyone get me the install instructions with the topseed headers?

If you are doing the install yourself make sure you set a full day aside. If you are not mechanicaly inclined get someone who is because it will take you much longer to do it. It took me a full day to install my DC-Sports and there is no engine lifting, just the steering colum had to be disconnected and put back together. All of the headers that are designed this way are the same. Crawford I heard you will have to lift the engine. I will say this, it is one tight fit with not alot of room to work with.

I am a service advisor for an Acura dealership, I have access to the lifts and have my own air tools, plus one of my techs used to work at Nissan, I appreciate the info though as I did not realize the P/S rack was involved in the install. I think you just talked me into getting help from my ex-nissan tech.
Thanks.
