Strupp Test Pipe Installed

Yesterday afternoon finally installed Strupp test pipe on my coupe. At this point it's so far so good, power wise it's definetly a big noticeable increase my car really pulls hard on the top end I have Injen SES exhaust with this test pipe, my car become very loud, especially @ wot it sounds like a Mustang Cobra..Allthough to be honest last night i was bit worried about the sound but, after driving the my car all day today i am begining to enjoy the sound.

Quality of strupp race pipe, according to my mechanic they were very impressed with the product, However the gasket that comes with the test pipe really sucks..big time, In order to do it rite, you must put the factory gasket or else it will leak. Also according to Strupp this test pipe won't cause check engine light..and so far no SEL. If any one have any question feel free to ask?

What did your catback exhaust sound like with the stock midpipes in place? Is the rasp worth worrying about for the price, I mean $159 is a damn bargain compared to the UTR or other brands that are well over $240. It is just a 2 foot chunk of pipe. I am really interested in these and if the rasp is only slight between 3-4000rpm then I will for sure get them with the strup headers.

Please let me know.

Tell you the truth, it sound very deep..but the only way to describe the sound from 3-400rpm is it's sound bit raspy..kind of like those Mustang GT with exhaust. But price wise it's definetly a best bang for buck...Not to mention you'll feel some serious power on high end.

Good to know man. If they made that much of a difference on the top end they should work really well with their headers. And if they really don't cause a check engine light that would be sweet, but let us know after 1000miles if you get one. Should take about that long or a little less.

I am assuming you are going to get a light. The rear 02 are going to be showing that something is off with no cats, but it will have no effect on performance or how the car runs. You just have to stare at a damn light, that is all.
