Intake noise only?

People on here r sayin that intake is mainly a mod for the sound factor.....so would getting an aftermarket exhaust do the same?? Or would it be MORE of a perfromance mod??

exhaust has better gains than intake, but not that great. stillen/borla have the best gains i hear, and sound the closest to stock.

Dude who ever told you intake and exhuast are for sound only are fools. Intake adds good power and exhuast add another 7-10 hp. I would do a motordyne plenum spacer for sure. I gained 22hp

intake and exhaust will make power... but not enough for you butt dyno to feel... so people will only say its good for sound... which is true but both will add HP but nothing too noticeable

Thanks man ...i get it ..but some people on other threads i read say some lead to a loss in hp?? like the injen cai? i hope thats not true..even though its probably a very little amount IF thats true
